We just wrapped up the 2017 Community Outreach Program. What a season it was! Our team of volunteers worked hard to enhance the marketing efforts for a handful of well-deserving non-profits in our community. Learn more about the organizations we partnered with this year:
Betties360 strives to inspire confidence, well-being, and community in girls though action sports, outdoor adventure, and life skill education.
Our team provided Betties360 with a strategic plan to promote their annual “Fine Wine and Feather Boas” event. The suggested tactics will help Betties360 grow awareness of the event and enhance donor engagement. Deliverables also included new logo options and an updated website.

Association of Talent Development
Another organization we partnered with was the Association for Talent Development (ATD). This thriving organization fosters professional growth to its members by providing world-class resources to build talent and skills for various organizations. Resources consist of trusted research, webcasts, events, and educational programs.
ATD needed assistance with audience reach, membership acquisition, and event promotion. Our Community Outreach team provided marketing assistance in order to help ATD achieve their goals. Here’s what the team accomplished:
- Improved messaging for flyers and email newsletters
- New email and flyer templates
- Strategic social media plan
Disability Art & Culture Project
The Disability Art And Culture Project (DACP) works to further the artistic expression of people with both apparent and non-apparent disabilities. DACP looked to AMA PDX’s Community Outreach Program to help their goals of developing donor relationships, increasing participation in events, and to create a consistent brand image.
The Community Outreach team created a logo for DACP and a fresh, new style guide. The team also helped DACP with a refreshed website and updated SEO strategy.
Here’s a look at the new DACP logo:

Friends of Portland Community Gardens
For over 30 years, Friends of Portland Community Gardens (FPCG) has supported and expanded community gardening opportunities for Portland-area residents to grow healthy food and build community. The organization has saved and improved existing gardens, as well as created multiple new ones.
FPCG came to AMA PDX for help with increasing their number of volunteers, creating a consistent image, and developing donor relationships.
Our Community Outreach team created a SWOT analysis, brand guidelines, as well as digital and social marketing strategies for FPCG. The team also completed a redesign and content refresh of the website to promote member and donor acquisition. Below is a peek at what the website looked like before and after the redesign.
