Sustainability and a company's commitment to serving their community has become an increasingly important element of today's business model. Join Colleen Chapman as she discusses how Starbucks has both effectively marketed sustainability as well as met challenges along the way.
Bio Colleen Chapman currently serves as the director of Stakeholder Engagement and CSR Integration. In her role, Colleen leads the outreach and communication to NGO, customer and partner (employee) stakeholders. She also works closely with the Global Communications, Marketing and Strategy teams to ensure the Starbucks approach to CSR strategy and programs are closely tied to the business and brand communications.
Prior to this role, Colleen was the brand director for Ethos Water, which raises awareness of the world water crisis and makes investments in sustainable water programs. She has also led Brand Strategy and Retail Marketing in her seven-year tenure at Starbucks Coffee Company.
Previous to Starbucks, Colleen held roles in Advertising and Public Relations for Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com.
Colleen’s favorite coffee is Sumatra.
