Strategic Insights and Social Media from the Campaign that Changed History
Abstract:
How did Barack Obama use social media to win the White House? Rahaf Harfoush witnessed firsthand the innovation and strategy behind the Obama campaign when she joined the New Media Team for three months.
Based on her extraordinary experiences at Obama headquarters, she delivers a behind-the-scenes look at his new media campaign, showing us how to use online technologies -- and the powerful ideas of community that animate them -- to out-think the competition.
A social media evangelist and strategist (her clients include Unilever, British Telecom and the Web Foundation), Rahaf Harfoush will soon publish Yes We Did, a book about the groundswell inspired by the campaign.
