What is your role in the AMA?

I am a Project Manager on the Lift Urban team as part of the Community Outreach Program.

How long have you been volunteering for the AMA?

I’ve been volunteering for the AMA since August 2015. I started out on the Research Committee team and transitioned to becoming the Project Manager for my Community Outreach team in October 2015.

What is your favorite thing to do in Portland in your spare time?

My favorite thing to do in Portland is to take advantage of the great outdoors in the city’s backyard. However, when not hiking, you can find me enjoying the food carts, having a burger at Tilt, or enjoying a drink at 10 Barrels.

If you had won the recent lottery, what would have done with the earnings?

If I had won the recent lottery, I would invest a portion, but I would also plan a few outdoor adventures around some of the world’s greatest natural wonders with my fiancé, family, and some of my closest friends.

What do you like best about AMA PDX?

What I like most about AMA PDX is how hospitable and friendly everyone is to each other. I have never gone to an AMA PDX event where individuals aren’t eager to network and help one another out! A luncheon was the first AMA event I attended when new to Portland. By the end of the event, someone invited me on a personal tour of the Nike campus. What a friendly crowd!

AMA-PDX is an all-volunteer organization. Participants dedicate their time for a number of reasons: networking, education, the occasional free lunch.
